Part of the Lazy Leisure series which are a tribute to my Geohound Bud, who in his youth loved the outdoor pursuits, especially the ones where the end results was a nice chunk of kibble (this could be smelt from some distance away and being a hound, he normally attained his prey), now into his dotage he much prefers his leisure pursuits for the comfort of the back of the car, where he can see all the fun but expend none of the energy!
GOLF – a gentle, time consuming activity that involved too much energy expenditure for Bud, not only did you have to carry all your equipment, there was it seemed no actual reward for getting the white small thing in the hole, although the pub nearby let him in afterwards for treats and sweetmeats! Caches placed around Kendal's leisure facilities where Bud used to plod regularly. Cache is micro vial, please reattach to velcro and bring your own pencil. If you wish to complete the series on foot, parking is available at LL Double Up, from here to LL Get In, is 1.46km approx, so walkable, but be prepared, Kendal is not flat and the walk up to LL Get In is quite steep!! Though the views are worth the climb. Please park responsibly, do not block any access roads - thanks.
