About 100m upstream from the Hartlake Bridge canoe access point is a red wooden footbridge over a tributary to the Medway.
Apart from the first few metres, where there are submerged branches to cross, the paddling is not too hard.
As there are more hazards to deal with compared to open river paddling I have increased the D and T.
