Der Schwarzensee liegt auf einem Hochplateau zwischen Wolfgangsee und Attersee und ist umgeben von Wäldern und Bergen. Er bietet beste Wasserqualität und lockt sowohl Angler als auch naturbegeisterte Wanderer und Mountainbiker. Im Sommer ist er auch zum Baden geeignet.
Mit dem Auto gelangt man von Strobl am Wolfgangsee über die Ortschaft Rußbach bis zum Ufer des Schwarzensees. Es führen aber auch zahlreiche Wanderwege zum Schwarzensee.
Um die Cache-Koordinaten herauszufinden, sind folgende Fragen zu beantworten:
1) Wie hoch liegt der Schwarzensee? Die Antwort (Seehöhe in Metern) sei die Zahl A.
2) Welche Fläche (in ha) hat der Schwarzensee? Die Antwort sei die Zahl B.
3) Wie tief ist der Schwarzensee an der tiefsten Stelle? Die Antwort (Tiefe in Metern) sei die Zahl C.
4) Der Schwarzensee speist ein Kraftwerk. Wann wurde dieses Kraftwerk erbaut? Die 4-stellige Jahreszahl sei die Zahl D.
5) Wie groß ist die Fallhöhe dieses Kraftwerks? Die Anwort (in Metern) sei die Zahl E.
6) Im NW des Schwarzensees befindet sich der einzige ständige Zufluss. Alle Buchstaben dieses Zuflusses addiert (A=1, B=2, C=3 usw.) ergeben die Zahl F.
7) Im Einflussbereich dieses Zuflusses befindet sich ein Schongebiet, welches durch 2 rote Punkten am Ufer markiert ist. Der Abstand dieser Markierungspunkt ergibt die Zahl G (in Metern, auf 10 m genau).
Den Cache findest Du bei den folgenden Koordinaten auf einer kleinen Anhöhe:
N 47° NN.nnn E 013° EE.eee
mit NN = 4*B - E - 9
nnn = D - A - G/10 - 5*E - 38
EE = A - 5*E + 3
eee = D/3 - 2*C - B/2 - F - 4

5) What is the height of fall of this power station? The answer (in meters) is the number E.
6) In the northwest of the Schwarzensee the only constant inflow is located. All letters of this inflow added (A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, etc.) give the number F.
7) In the area of influence of this inflow there is a protective area, which is marked by two red dots on the shore. The distance between these markers is the number G (in meters, accurate to 10 meters).
