Many of you will have read the geocaching newsletter recently but for those of you that haven’t. On every day in August you will receive a geocaching souvenir on your profile page for logging a found it or attended log. So a total of 31 souvenirs are available. I really would like to do this but realised I had a problem, I have already found all my local caches and have to drive a considerable distance now to find a cache so maintaining a streak for 31 days would be very difficult for me to do. I also realised that a lot of the other local cachers would have the same problem as me.

In response to Gingernutters suggestion I am also placing a number of straightforward Cache 'n' Dash caches around the area to support the cause.
