Geocache Description:

Gingernutters Wrote:

“Many of you will have read the geocaching newsletter recently but for those of you that haven’t. On every day in August you will receive a geocaching souvenir on your profile page for logging a found it or attended log. So a total of 31 souvenirs are available. I really would like to do this but realised I had a problem, I have already found all my local caches and have to drive a considerable distance now to find a cache so maintaining a streak for 31 days would be very difficult for me to do. I also realised that a lot of the other local cachers would have the same problem as me.”

We, like other local cachers, have responded with some fairly simple caches

This is one of 3 caches placed at the same time, all intended to be done from one parking spot. They are not in any kind of circuit so you can choose to do one at a time of all 3 at once. Of the 3, this is the longest walk, requiring you to cross the bridge and follow a path to nowhere, which in summer has tended to be quite overgrown but IS still clearly defined. The cache is at the end of the path and certainly I can see no closer location for parking. To try to park on the main road near the cache would be foolhardy. Finders of the now archived Mystery Flank cache will recognise the path

*** Well done to RM73 for a bright and early FTF ***
