This is another in a series of caches new geocaches, placed by local cachers, that will appear each day in August as part of the August geocaching frenzy. Those of you who have found most of the local caches should be able to pick up a new one each day after all is said and done.
This cache begins in the Russell Simms Aquatic Center, and ends within a quarter-mile walk along an easy greenways walking/biking path to the final coordinates. I set this up as an easy multi-cache to try to ensure that people would park and then walk to the final coordinates. I cannot overstate that if you try to park alongside the final coordinates you run a strong likilihood of either getting hit by a car or of having the police stop to try to get you to move along so that you don't get hit by a car. So please, park and walk. The walk is a very nice stroll along a wide, well-marked biking and walking trail. It's flat, and the path can be navigated by stroller or wheelchair the entire way. The container may not be accessible by someone in a wheelchair, so I've not listed this as wheelchair accesible.
