On May 3, 2013, The new hospital in Castle Rock opened the doors of their Community Garden, "The Garden of Eatin'." Community members and local businesses planted individual 4'x12' garden beds of sustainable local produce for personal consumption. The hospital's own restaurant has a substantial garden to provide for its own kitchen.
In collaboration with hospital staff, this travel bug café has been placed on the eve of the opening of the hospital on August 1st.
This cache is easily accessible at the Community Garden (during daylight hours) to assist the local Geocaching community by providing a second Castle Rock Travel Bug Hotel.
Riddles can be found on the placard above the cache itself and must be solved to decrypt the cache lock combination
Please Park near the waypoints included in the listing, on the western side of the parking lot, leaving the spaces closer to the hospital for patients and visitors.
Whether your travel bug or geocoin wishes to visit the garden for just a day or for an extended stay, your TB buddy will enjoy beautiful garden views. This charming facility is housed in a medium sized container
Please lock the café entrance exactly the way you find it, to ensure that the cache remains viable for future cachers. Please enjoy your stay at the Travel Bug Café and come again soon!
