After enjoying many caches hidden by others, I thought it was about time I put out a few of my own; this is the first. I was drawn to caching as a way to find enjoyable walks in places I might otherwise not have visited, so this is the first in a series of caches following the approximate route of one of my dog's favourite morning walks. Other caches will follow. The cache is a micro in a tree, just off a footpath I use to link Littleworth Common to Burnham Beeches. I have placed this cache here to encourage cachers to walk from Littleworth Common down to Burnham Beeches. It is generally fairly dry underfoot and, although there can be some carnivorous undergrowth at times, this cache should be accessible to strollers designed for use beyond the shopping centre, there are a couple of stiles on the circular walk that a stroller will need to be lifted over. Dogs, even relatively large ones, will have no problem getting past the stiles. Don't forget to bring a pen.
