O miejscu:
Kościół św. Jana Ewangelisty w Pisarzowej wzniesiony został w 1713 r. przez F. Wąsowskiego. Do jego budowy użyto elementów z poprzedniej, gotyckiej świątyni. Nawę i prezbiterium nakrywa jednolity dach wielospadowy, kryty blachą, z barokową wieżyczką sygnaturkową zwieńczoną baniastym hełmem z latarnią. Wnętrze zdobi polichromia figuralna i ornamentalna z XIX w. Barokowe i rokokowe wyposażenie świątyni pochodzi z końca XVII w. oraz z XVIII w. W ołtarzu głównym znajduje się intarsjowany obraz Matki Boskiej z Dzieciątkiem, datowany na koniec XVII w. Z tego samego okresu pochodzi kamienna chrzcielnica. Jeden z najpiękniejszych zabytkowych kościółków w okolicach Limanowej. Otoczony murem wewnątrz pomnik przyrody z pięknym ogrodem. Od frontu pomnik obelisk z datą 1914 rok.
