hairyfairies: Went today with Hammy 57 who had previously DNFed this one. I couldn't believe he couldn't find it.
He couldn't because it's gone.

It's a shame because this one was not just an old film pot and time and expense was incurred in creating it.

I have decided to Archive this one even though it was only found once.

Now Rebekah, please, no new challenge caches involving caches found only once and by the person they were named for. [;)] [;)]

Many of you will have read the geocaching newsletter this week but for those of you that haven’t. On the 13th July and every day in August you will receive a geocaching souvenir on your profile page for logging a found it or attended log. So a total of 32 souvenirs are available. I really would like to do this but realised I had a problem, I have already found all my local caches and have to drive a considerable distance now to find a cache so maintaining a streak for 31 days would be very difficult for me to do. I also realised that a lot of the other local cachers would have the same problem as me.

 

In response to Gingernutters suggestion we are placing a number of caches around the area.

We have decided to name our caches after local Caching Celebrities. There may be a Hint in the name of the cache if you are familiar with the person or their caches.

No hints for the time being.
