Geocache Description:

You seek a large lock & lock box as a traditional geocache.  There is plenty of room for trackables, coins and trades - but please remember to only trade up or trade equally.  There is plenty of parking between Easter and September when the nearby centre is open, but if you use their carpark please be considerate and consider buying a drink to say thanks for the parking.  Off season, please park in a way that does not block the private driveway.

This cache has been placed to celebrate the 6th year (2013) of excavations at a nearby archaeological site by cache owner Tom.  Projects have been going on in the local area for a long time to investigate many archaeological sites in the area and this cache is at the base used by the archaeologists when they are in the area.  The area is also closely linked to the Arthurian myth and legend and nearby is the Arthur Stone, which is a 6th Century engraved stone, viewable by paid access to the nearby centre.

Cache is placed with permission of the land owner.  Happy hunting!

Congratulations to Kai's Ramblers for the FTF!
