A kayak friendly hide on (under) a deep water pier, left over when the Navy left Prudence Island.
The south end of Prudence Island was home to a Naval magazine during World War II. This pier was used for the loading and off-loading of munitions, which were stored in the multitude of nearby bunkers. The area is criss crossed with concrete roads which helped facilitate the movement. If you have time, do some exploring!
The views across the Bay to Portsmouth are also worth taking in!
You will likely want to tackle this one at lower tide, to make cache retrieval a lot easier!
You have been warned. Cache is a larger bison tube. Please bring your own pen.
