Eventti alkaa aamulla klo 09:00 Pallastunturin luontokeskuksen parkkipaikalla (matkaa Harrinivasta noin 30 km), josta siirrymme sisälle kuuntelemaan luontokeskuksen tervehdystä geoväelle.
OHJELMA KOKONAISUUDESSAAN:
9.00 Pallastunturin luontokeskus toivottaa geokätköilijät tervetulleeksi!
9.15-11.00 Vapaata tutustumista luontokeskuksen näyttelyihin sekä videoesityksiä auditoriossa:
- 9.30 Elämää Pallas - Ounastuntureilla, 23 min (suomi)
- 10.00 Elämää Pallas - Ounastuntureilla, 23 min (englanti)
- 10.30 Elämää Pallas - Ounastuntureilla, 23 min (suomi tai saksa)
11.00-13.30 Paikallisen asiantuntijan opastama päivävaellus Pallaskeron huipulle! Matkan pituus noin 7 km, kesto noin 2,5 tuntia. Vaellus sopii normaalikuntoiselle liikkujalle eikä vaadi erityisiä varusteita. Hyvät kengät, iloinen retkifiilis ja nestehuolto kannattaa hoitaa kuntoon!
Eventtiin voi osallistua saapumalla koko tapahtumaan tai osallistumalla vain luontokeskuksen tai vaelluksen osuuksiin. Tapahtuma on kokonaisuudessaan ilmainen ja järjestetty yhteistyössä Pallastunturin luontokeskuksen kanssa.

Pallastunturi Fell Nature Center will guide you through the Finnish fell nature and lead you to unique adventures in Pallas-Yllästunturi Fell Area's National Park´s beautiful landscapes. After exploring the Nature Center, you can take a part in a guided day hike to the peak of Pallaskero Fell.
Event starts at 09:00am in the parking place of the Pallastunturi Fell Nature Center (about 30km´s from Harriniva). From there we will move inside to hear a welcoming speech to the geocachers.
PROGRAM:
09:00 am Pallastunturi Fell Nature Center welcomes geocachers!
09:15-11:00 am You can freely visit the Nature Center and it's exhibitions. Video presentations in auditorium:
- 09:30am Living in the Pallas-Ounastunturi Fell Area, 23min (Finnish)
- 10:00am Livin in the Pallas-Ounastunturi Fell Area, 23min (English)
- 10:30am Living in the Pallas-Ounastunturi Fell Area, 23min (Finnish or German)
11:00 am - 01:30 pm Day hike to the Pallaskero Fell with a native guide! Length of the trip is about 7 km, duration about 2,5 h. The hike is suitable for a person with normal physique, and does not need to have any special equipment. Good shoes, happy mood and something to drink is enough.
You can mark the event as attented by taking part in some of the actions, or to them all. It is up to you.
This event is organized in co-operation with Pallastunturi Fell Nature Center, and it is free for all participants.
NOTE! We are going to arrange a bus transportation between Harriniva and Pallastunturi Fell Area, if there is enough interest in it. Please inform us, if you like to have a transportation to the event and back. We'll let you know the prices with an announcement soon!
