Ein Multi-Cache entlang des Moorlehrpfades; auf dem Weg müssen mehrere Hinweise für die Finalkoordinaten gesammelt werden.

Moorlehrpfad

Auf 1.800 m Seehöhe führt dieser tolle Wanderweg über Almwiesen und Sumpfböden vom Penken bis zur Schrofenalm. Entlang des Moorlehrpfades befinden sich Feuchtbiotope (Niedermoore), die durch Versumpfung entstanden sind. Mineralhaltige Böden bilden den idealen Untergrund für Kalk- und Silikatzeiger-Pflanzen. Informative Schautafeln geben Auskunft zum Schutzgebiet. Die Wanderung dauert ca. 2,5 Stunden; festes Schuhwerk ist erforderlich.

Die Auffahrt erfolgt mit der Finkenberger Almbahn bis zur Mittelstation, am Ausgang nach rechts wenden, und ein paar Meter die Straße hoch bis zu den Koordinaten des Einstiegspunkts (T1), wo ein Wegweiser Moorlehrpfad 22b auf einen Fußweg nach links und bergan führt. Der Lehrpfad beginnt ungefähr an Referenzpunkt 1 (R1) mit einer Übersichtskarte und folgt den Routen Nr. 22b und Nr. 57 in Richtung Schrofenalm. Abstiegsmöglichkeit: entweder über die Schrofenalm (Kombination mit dem Cache dort möglich) nach Tux-Vorderlanersbach (Wanderweg Nr. 55) oder zurück zur Mittelstation und Abfahrt mit der Finkenberger Almbahn.

This attractive hiking trail at 1,800 m above sea level leads through alpine meadows and marshy ground from Penken to the Schrofenalm. Along the educational bog trail you'll make your way through wetland (fen), which resulted from the process of paludification. Soils which are rich in minerals provide an ideal bed for plants thriving on lime and silicates. The hike takes about 2.5 hours and good hiking boots are obligatory.

Take the cable car in Finkenberg up to the middle station and exit to the right. The trail starts roughly at reference point 1 (R1), where you'll find an overview map. The coordinates for the trailhead (T1) mark a point a few meters up the road from the middle station where a sign post Moorlehrpfad 22b leads to a foot path to the left and up the mountain. The whole trail follows along routes no. 22b and later no. 57 in the direction of Schrofenalm. To get to the bottom of the valley again, either continue the route to the Schrofenalm (optionally finding the cache there) and take route no. 55 to Tux-Vorderlanersbach from there, or walk back to the middle station of the Finkenberg cable car.
