Geocache Description:

You're looking a micro container.

You need the tunnel number - this will be ABC

To find the coordinates:
N 50 50.BB (C-B)
W 000 10.(A+C) (B+C) C

The final location is within 400 metres.
The GPS signal at the final GZ can be erratic, so I recommend looking at the hint!
*It is my longterm mission to create a chain of caches that link from here - the start of the Dyke Railway to the end of the railway at the Dyke*

Welcome to Aldrington Halt!

Here you are at Aldrington Station, which used to be called Aldrington Halt, after it was called Dyke Junction (this is where the Devil's Dyke train broke away from the Brighton to Shoreham line, heading north). The station was opened in 1905.

The tunnel under the railway lines was originally built to allow the local farmer to move his cattle between fields which became separated with the arrival of the railway.

PARKING & public transportation: You can't park in Old Shoreham Road, but the roads to the north of the station are still as far as I know free, but south of the station you would need to pay. If in doubt, be quick! There are plenty of buses in Portland Road and Old Shoreham Road and of course trains! Aldrington is not a main station, so don't expect more than 2/3 trains an hour in either direction.
