St John's Church, Southbourne is a busy church at the heart of its community. Regrettably, I have been unable to find out much about its history online, but if any cachers are able and/or willing to provide some verifiable information I will be pleased to include it!
The above co-ordinates will bring you to the large cross in the south east corner of the churchyard, where you will find a plaque commemorating the fallen of the Great War. The inscription begins "In memory of those". How many lines of inscription are on this plaque? = A
Now go to Stage 2 at N 50° 50.711 W 000° 54.513. Here you will find the south door of the church where there are two memorial plaques, one either side. Obtain the following information:

Mr King died in 19FG
The cache is located a short walk away at N 50° (B+G)(D-F).A(B-C)G W 000° ((F+G)*A).EB(E+B)
