O Casal da Barreira
Este antigo casal (pequena quinta) que outrora dominava os terrenos circundantes não resistiu ao evoluir dos tempos, e hoje não passa de uma ruína no meio da vegetação. Não é por isso que deixou de ser um dos pontos de referência para as gentes da região, muito por culpa dos pinheiros e da posição sobranceira, que fazem com que seja fácil de identificar. Por se encontrar afastado das povoações mais próximas, é hoje um local sossegado, de onde se pode apreciar a paisagem circundante.
This old "couple" (portuguese word for small farm) that once dominated the surrounding terrains could not resist the evolution of times, and is today no more than a ruin among the trees. Despite this, it is still a landmark for the peolple of the region, mostly because of it distinctive pinetrees and location, that make it very easy to identify. Since it is isolated from the nearest villages, it is today a quiet place, providing a scenic view.

A quem procura fazer uma aproximação usando o automóvel, aconselha-se o estacionamento no waypoint indicado para tal. A partir daí, basta seguir os caminhos que existam até ao GZ. Como se trata de uma ruína, aconselha-se a precaução habitual nestes casos.

To those that arrive by car, it is recommended that it should be parked in the given waypoint. From there, enjoy the hike to the GZ using the existing paths if possible. Since it is a ruin, caution is advised.
