Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS AT THE POSTED COORDINATES, BUT THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL LOGGING REQUIREMENT.

Congrats to rjr002 on the FTF!

Before finding this cache, you must have found at least one physical cache containing a log book -- i.e., no events, earthcaches, webcams, or virtuals can be used to qualify for the cache (although they can be found on the same day as a qualifying cache) -- a day for 1,000 consecutive days.  To prove that you qualify for this challenge, you must have your stats visible so I can verify.

1,000 days may seem like an absurdly high number, but keep in mind that Arizona has a 500 day streak challenge and Washington has a three-year (1,095 day) streak challenge.*  As near as I can tell, the longest existing streak challenge in Minnesota clocks in at 400 days.  I thought we needed something more.  I know there are at least a couple Minnesota cachers who already meet this requirement, and there are a few more who aren't that far away.  I am currently on my 1,044th consecutive day of finding a cache, and I've had a few major life events occur since my streak started, so I know it can be done.  When I started my streak, I imposed the "physical cache containing a log book" requirement on myself, since that makes the real challenge in a state where caches can be under two feet of snow six months out of the year.  So, sorry, I thought I'd impose it on you too.

Good luck!

* - Challenges are mentioned just to compare the number of days. Apparently, both of those challenges have some requirements that are not acceptable under current challenge guidelines, so please disregard those aspects.
