During the April 2013 CITO event, momd, Mud Dancer and spooko13 teamed up near the golf club's driving range at Genesee Valley Park. While we didn't find a lot of typical trash, we did find lots of golf balls! Lots and lots and lots and lots of golf balls.... Many were chewed up by the lawn mower and thrown into the woods, but many more were usable. So we discussed what to do with some of them, and like any good geocachers we came to the only logical conclusion....use them as part of a series of golf-themed hides!
The series consists of three traditional hides (listed below) placed individually by the three of us, and a final, collective, unknown type cache (the one you are looking at now).
If you have visited the other caches in the series you should now have nine of the ten numbers needed to complete the final coordinates, represented by N 43 AB.CDE W 077 FG.HIJ. To obtain the tenth and final digit, plug the numbers you already have into the following equation:
C = D/G+E-F*H+(A+I)/J-B
(NOTE: The asterisk (*) stands for multiplication; the slash (/) stands for division.)
Please be gentle with the cache container and please remember to use stealth if you are in a high muggle zone or near a hole that is currently being played!
Happy caching!
