WHAT?
You are invited to an informal gathering for all geocachers, wanna-be geocachers, and muggles. This is a chance to put some faces with some names, hear some stories (or hints and tips), and download new caches placed for Cache and Splash 2014--Summer's Here.
WHERE?
We will meet at the listed coordinates, the location of the St. Nicholas Church Parish Hall. Beverages and snacks will be available and you are not required to bring anything. When you log a "Will Attend", post the number in your group, so I have an idea of how much pogey bait to provide.
WHAT ABOUT CACHING?
Some new caches are being released for the weekend and they will be made available during this event. They will be in a *.gpx file on flash drive and CD, plus there will be one PC on site to load your GPSr with Garmin compatible cables. You are welcome to bring your PC, but the site does not have Wi-Fi. In addition, there will be a difficult multi-stage puzzle released with this event: SD-WaY : What a Night for a Knight. You will find a notebook, flashlight, camera, smartphone, patience, and teamwork invaluable in finishing this cache. A considerable hike and location hopping will be required.
