In the beautiful Valley of Woluwe, a tribute to Belgium's bankrupt
airline: SABENA. This cache aims to become Belgium's international
gateway for travelbugs and other objects traveling from cache to
cache.
Located a few miles away from Brussels Airport, right in front
of Sabena's headquarters (Hof Ter Musschen farm), close to Woluwe's
Windmill, this cache contains tools to clean ourselves, us Belgians
feeling dirty after our National Airline's bankrupty.
This is the place to visit before a trip abroad, as the goal of
this cache is to attract travelbugs waiting for a faraway take
off.
About what you could bring along, some old Sabena stuff like
spoons, napkins, pens, etc... would be really appreciated for this
cache.
If you are on a layover in Brussels Airport, take bus 359
(destination: Metro Roodebeek) and get off at "Hof Ter Musschen"
(takes about 20 minutes one way, the bus rides at least every hour
during the week, less on Saturdays and has no service on Sundays
and Bank Holidays). To get back to the airport, take the same bus
359 (destination: Zaventem Luchthaven (=Brussels Airport)). If you
have 50 euros to spend, a taxi will get you there, wait for you to
do your things and get you back in less than an hour. Ask the
driver for Sodehotel Woluwe.
(There are visits of the Hof Ter Musschen area organized by the
municipality of Woluwe-St-Lamb. every first Sunday of the month at
10:00am.)
Spoiler: The container is hidden on the ground under old
branches.
