Geocache Description:

This is second in a series of at least 3 to start with.
Bailey is our dog, and she often comes Geocaching with us and enjoys hunting for the treasure, so I thought it appropriate to place a few caches around locations where we often walk with Bailey.

Bailey frequently gets to walk in Kingsgate Park, often by Q3, before school. :-) She has many friends who she plays with when out and about.
There was another cache in the park, but this has been out of action for a while now, so I thought it was about time to place a new one there.
We recently started walking around the nature reserve part of the park, and I found a super spot for a cache.
Well, there has been a lot of pruning and clearing since I placed the cache, and sadly during February 2014, the cache disappeared - again, after a lot of ground works had been done.
I have therefore taken the opportunity to relocate the cache at the little bridge which is located at the north end of the nature reserve, and made it part of the Little Bridges series.
Coords and hint updated accordingly.
We hope you enjoy walking around Kingsgate Park.  Why not make a day of it, and bring a pic-nic with you.
There is a super play area for children of all ages -I should know, with 4 mini Q's!!  And plenty of ducks to feed on the lake.  The swans have recently had cygnets, so lots of photo opportunities too.  You may even like to come when Yate & Sodbury Model Boat Club are sailing on the lake.  More details can be found at : http://www.ysmbc.webeden.co.uk/

More details about Kingsgate Park can be found at : here or here.
The cache is not easily accessible by wheelchairs, but pushchairs should be able to use the paths.  No climbing is required to access this cache.
Please note the Park opening times.
1st April - 31st October 6:00am - 10:pm
1st November - 31st March 6:00am - 7:00pm

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast, Damian from Winter Foxes has created and updates a list of cachers who has found 10 or more little bridges and can be found here, if you would like to add to the series, please contact Stan here and he will give you a number for your bridge, to qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches “Little Bridges # xx then name” including spaces so it will get picked up and added to Damian’s list.

WELL DONE TO Leonards193 FOR FIRST TO FIND. :-)
A worthy prize for trying on the day the cache was published after the park had shut, and then getting up in time for the park to open the next morning.
