Geocache Description:

King Charles the Martyr

This church began as the first permanent building in Tunbridge Wells. Before 1676 there was no village here, nor any name on a map. Summer visitors had for many years sought benefit from drinking the chalybeate waters, but there were no lodging places closer than Rusthall or Southborough, both more than a mile away.
Thomas Neale, entrepreneur and London builder, saw the commercial possibilities of the place. He purchased the site of the springs and the area now called the Pantiles, and assisted with a scheme to design and build a chapel which, beyond its devotional function, would serve additionally as an assembly room or temporary shelter from inclement weather.
Outside the church is a stone set into the pavement which marked the County boundaries of Kent and East Sussex before the County boundaries were redrawn.

The above co ordinates take you to the sundial.

To solve the puzzle you need to find the answers to the following questions about Charles I :

How many legitimate children did he have who survived to age of 10? = A
How many commissioners signed his death warrant? = B C
How many letters in the name of the person who made the sundial at the published coordinates? (facit = latin for made) = D

What maximum height did he reach in feet and inches? = F G
How many oak trees did he hide in? = H
How many letters were found sewn into a saddle at the George and Blue Boar inn? = J
