	Geokubb, een samentrekking van geocaching en viking Kubb. Viking kubb is een spel, afkomstig uit Zweden en zou volgens de legende een vikingsspel zijn. De laatste jaren wint het aan populariteit. Steeds meer mensen spelen het, samen met vrienden, familie,... Het is een sociaal gebeuren geworden. Er worden heuse kampioenschappen georganiseerd, maar het plezier staat altijd centraal. Wat ook de eigenschappen zijn van een geslaagd evenement. Vandaar we dit event organiseren, het is de bedoeling om gezellig samen te zijn, gezellig te praten en te kubben. Wie het niet ziet zitten om aan het tornooi deel te nemen kan altijd langsgekomen om iets te drinken, de sfeer op te snuiven,... Wat: Dit is een onderdeel van het Brugse Beer IV Mega Event en gaat door op zaterdag 12 april 2014. Het spel wordt gespeeld in ploegen van 6 personen (max!). Er wordt geen onderscheid gemaakt tussen mannen/vrouwen en kinderen. Een gemengd team is dus geen probleem. Wissels tijdens de dag zijn NIET toegestaan en leidt tot uitsluiting. Wij voorzien de KUBB-spelen. Het event is gratis! Hoe: De 12 ploegen worden opgedeeld in 2 poules. De beste 4 van elke poule gaan door naar de volgende ronde/halve finale/finale. De poules worden pas vrijgegegeven op de dag zelf. De verdeling gebeurt a.d.h.v. loting. Duur: Het tornooi start om 13u00 en eindigt om 16u45/18u30. De kapiteins worden verwacht om 12u30 voor de laatste briefing en richtlijnen. Opgelet: De finale wordt gespeeld op zondag 13 april op het Brugse Beer IV Mega Event om 16u30! Oefenmogelijkheid: Het is mogelijk om vanaf 10u30 een oefenpartij te spelen voor de ploegen die deelnemen. Spelregels: De spelregels zijn na te lezen op: Geocaching Brugge. Tijdens het spel is er GEEN scheidsrechter aanwezig. Het is gebaseerd op FAIRPLAY en EERLIJKHEID. Bij discussie heeft de organisatie ALTIJD het laatste woord. Meerdere varianten van het spel bestaan, doch zijn deze spelregels de enige geldende! Prijs: De winnaar van de finale wint de enige echte GeoKubbAward en natuurlijk eeuwige roem! Accomodatie: Tijdens dit evenement is er een bar aanwezig waar er drank kan worden gekocht aan democratische prijzen. Inschrijven: Inschrijven gebeurt per ploeg. Deze worden afgesloten op vrijdag 4 april, 23:59:59 of wanneer alle ploegen volzet zijn. Dit omwille van organisatorische redenen. Inschrijven kan enkel via de website. De registraties hiervoor gaan op 1 februari 2014 om 10:00 (AM CET). Er moet maar 1 registratie gebeuren per team!Meer info		Geokubb stands for Geocaching and Viking Kubb. Viking Kubb is a game that founds his origin in Sweden, a legend says that is was a game of the Vikings. The past few years the game became more and more popular. A large amount of people are playing it together with friends and family… It has become a social happening. People organize huge championships, but having fun is all that matters. That is why the happenings are so big and pleasant. Because of these reasons we organize such an event. The intention of the event is to be together, cozy chatting and kubbing. What: This is a part of the Mega event Brugse Beer IV. This event takes place at Saturday, April 12 2014. The game needs to be played in groups of 6 people (maximum!). There will be no difference between men, women and kids. So a mixed team is no problem. Changes in the teams during the day will not be allowed and will lead to disqualification. We provide KUBB-sets. This event is free. How: The 12 teams will be divide in 2 qualification tournaments. The 4 best teams of each qualification tournament will go to the next round/Half finals/final. The division of the qualification tournament will be released on Saturday, 12. The division will be made by lottery. Time: The tournament will start at 13:00 and ends at 16:45/18:30. The captains of the teams will be expected at 12:30 for the last guidelines… Attention: The final will be played on Sunday 13th of april at the Brugse Beer IV Mega event at 16:30. Exercise possibilities: As participants can you play this game as exercise from 10:30. Rules: You can read the rules at: Geocaching Brugge. During the tournament there is NO referee present. The tournament is based on FAIRPLAY and HONESTY. When there is discussion, the organization has ALWAYS the last word. The game has a lot of variations, but these rules are the only ones that will be used. Price: The winning team of the final wins the GeoKubbAward and off course eternal fame! Accomodation: There is a bar where you can buy a drink at democratic prizes. Registrations:Registration happens by team. These will be closed at Friday, April 4, 11:59:59 pm ,or when 12 teams has been registered. This because of organizational reasons. Registration is only possible on the website. The registrations will be opened 1th February 2014 at 10:00 (AM CET). 1 registration for each time is required.More information
