Geocache Description:

Looking for camoed jar painted to match surroundings.  Large enough to hold pencil and log book along with some small swag.

This cache is located on top of Crystal Mountain.  An amazing trip, but best done in a BV.  Since it is at 1320' elevation, it is a challenge for even the most seasoned cachers should they attempt this one on foot.  Even in a BV, it is a challenge to get here.  But once you are here, it is so worth the trip.  Amazing view of the station and you can even see Boxtop 22 crash site from here.  Excellent views in every direction.  But that's not all.  The best part is the amazing time you will have digging for crystals.  From the size of a grain of rice to a tennis ball, these gems have taken millenia to form.  You can find white, grey, smokey and clear crystals all over this mountain.  But the best places are in the orange colored rock beds. Any fraudulent log entries from people not in Alert will be deleted and loggers will be reported to Geocaching.com. There is a very select few group of people who can a tally get to this location as it is NOT open to the public for security reasons.
