Geocache Description:

A very short offset cache. The cache is a micro containing a log only and £1 for FTF. Please bring your own pen or pencil to log.

The church of St.Andrew consists of a chancel with south vestry, a nave with a north porch and a double bellcot in the west gable-end and is all in the Decorated style. The church was much restored and partially rebuilt in 1895. The porch is dated 1613, and the vestry was added by public subscription in 1913. The pulpit dates from 1624. The oak altar rails, in which figure carving has been incorporated, also date from the 17th century.

The co ordinates are for the bottom of the steps. You need to climb these and go to the porch. Above the North door there is a quotation.

To find the co ordinates make the words to the left of GOD A to H. Therefore if the first word was "number" it would be A and a value of 6. The cache can be found at N 50 57.B (C+D) (G+H) W 002 40.D A (E+F+H) about 100 yards away.

“If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page found via the Bookmark list”
