This is the Northern most geocache on the planet Earth.
You are looking for a camoed jar that holds a log and pencil and some swag items. It is next to the beach, so if you're lucky, you will get some beautiful pictures of the berges floating by in the summer. In winter, this cache is surrounded by white. Keep an eye out for the lemmings and foxes in the area. This cache is rated 5/5 because less than 1/2 of 1% of the worlds population can even get to Alert, then alone geocache. Then once you are here, you must find the site. Best to do this cache in the spring and summer as it is daylight 24/7. Not recomended during nighttime cycle as terrain might put you in the ice flow. This cache is ouside the winter boundaries for walking so best to put your name on the white board and take a radio with you whenever attempting this cache. Any fraudulent log entries from people not in Alert will be deleted and loggers will be reported to Geocaching.com.
