The tiny C12 church sits on the outskirts of Chilcomb village on the edge of the South Downs.
If you are lucky enough to find the door to the church open when you visit there are welcoming notices, and information about various points of interest inside.
To find the cache - From the parking place, follow the road east and south past the village to

There you will find a gate to the church, dedicated to the memory of Dennis Moffatt by the friends of St Andrews, the dates on the gate are

Pass through the gate to the west of the porch. On the wall is a plaque recalling the life here of Tarn and Lucy Bassett, a symbol in each corner representing important things in their lives.
