Geocache Description:

Experienced cachers are wanted to help the Cub Scouts of Pack 843 learn the ropes of Geocaching.

This event is a chance for the boys of Pack 843 to discover the fun of Geocaching.  We are hoping to get the help of some experienced cachers in our local geocaching community.

The event will start at 1:00 PM, at the Iroquois Grove in Settler's Cabin Park.  Several temporary caches will be available.  Scouts along with their parent(s) will be partnered with an experienced local cacher, who will guide them in the skills needed to find the temporary caches.

We will be providing some swag to the boys, which they can then swap for swag inside the hidden caches.  After they have completed the temporary caches, some may choose to explore the park and find the "real" caches hidden there.

This is a great chance to do two of the top things that experienced cachers love: introducing new, enthusiastic people to caching, and enjoying some camaraderie with fellow cachers.
Drinks will be provided. Bring your own sunscreen and bug repellent.
