"Set on the shores of South Puget Sound, with the rugged Olympic Mountains rising in the distance across the water and the dome of Washington's Capitol soaring above the town, Olympia ranks as one of America's loveliest cities. Enjoy all the pomp and pageantry that come with being a state capital...the marble halls, the monuments, and the gorgeous capitol grounds. Surrounding the stately dome, there is still a small town at heart." I copied this from the city's web page for the first Olympia Cache Machine, and it's just as accurate for OCM II.
The details about the daylong sunrise-to-sunset cache machine are in
this forum discussion, but the official event is the after-machine dinner.
Dinner will be at the above coordinates: Ramblin' Jack's, 520 4th Avenue East, Olympia. Be there at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013.
Dinner is a flat $20 per person -- including tax and tip, and will be a buffet-style meal: salads, bread, chicken, pork, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and a drink. Kids 6-12 are half price. Under six eat free. If you could let me know in your "will attend" log below how many adults and kids you have, that'll really help in getting me a head count for the kitchen.
Be sure to put this on your watch list now, so you'll be the first to know about changes and updates as the big day approaches!
