O Flagitious: The Fiddlehead Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

châtelaine: I've had a lot of fun with this series but it's time has come. I am placing a shorter version that features "the best of Flagitious" because I can't quite let go. Stay tuned! And thanks to all who came to find these caches; I hope that you enjoyed them as much as I did!

Geocache Description:

Flagitious (fla jish’ эs)  shamefully wicked, as persons, actions, times etc.

This is a series of caches, each unique unto itself.  The caches in this series are very well hidden, they are intended to challenge your acumen and will take some time to find.  There are no encrypted hints but there is a plethora of clues to be had if you read carefully.  NOTE:  Some caches require special tools – they are available at the cache site and are part of the challenge.

Canada's longest living literary journal, The Fiddlehead is published four times a year at the University of New Brunswick with the generous assistance of the University of New Brunswick, the Canada Council for the Arts, and the Province of New Brunswick.

First published in 1945, The Fiddlehead is known as a WHO'S WHO in Can. Lit. Many — now well-known — writers have found their first home in these pages, and they, as well as some of the editors and assistants, have gone on to win awards and prizes across the country and around the world.
The Fiddlehead publishes short stories, poems, book reviews, and a small number of personal essays. The full-colour covers have become collectors’ items, and feature work by New Brunswick artists and from New Brunswick museums and art galleries.
NOTE: To get to this cache you will be following a creek bed so it could be quite damp and muddy, especially after a heavy rainfall so wear appropriate footwear. I did waypoint averaging twice to confirm coordinates - they bounce around a bit but I got basically the same reading as the posted coordinates.
