More information on the history of the station can be found here.  One thing that makes this out of the ordinary is the 'on board' project run by local residents who tend the embankments.   Worth a look if you have the time. 

The embankments were also used as allotments during the second world war.

We are proud of being conscientious cache owners and take care to ensure that all of the ones we own are taken care of. If you cannot find one of our caches then there is no shame in a posting a 'did not find'. It may mean you missed the cache or it may mean that the cache is missing. Either way it's useful for us to be alerted that there might be a problem.

Please do not leave throwdowns. We will delete found it logs where the original container was not found.
