VS#10 Belsize (Best kept Hamlet?) Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Hanoosh: Having made two requests and received no response or update from the CO, it is with regret, bearing in mind this is an old "VS", that I have no option but to archive this cache.

Geocache Description:

Village signs is a new series of caches based on the ornate signs that depict the heritage, history and culture of the villages that put them up (normally on the village green!).

The signs can be made of different materials from fibreglass to wood, from forged steel to stone. They can depict anything from local industry to historical events. The tradition probably stated in Norfolk or Suffolk and has now spread across most of the country so we thought we would base a series on them!

Belsize is a hamlet in Hertfordshire England, situated to the north of Sarratt on the road to Kings Langley & Chipperfield. It has won the best kept Hamlet in Hertfordshire more than once. A bit of a break from the other Village Sign Series as this is actually a commemorative plaque instead of a true village sign but we liked the look of it so why not? Its the tenth one we've hidden so we decided to celebrate!

Now to figure out where the final hide is.....

At the indicated GZ you'll find a sign with a list of all the Hamlets that have won this prestigious prize from 1963-1999. Answer the following questions and fill in the missing numbers and take a short walk to the final location:

  1. The last year Felden won 19A0

  2. The year Great Wymondley and Childwick Green won Jointly 19BC

  3. How many times has Belsize won? D

  4. The year Bendish won for the third time 19EF

N51 41.ABC W000 30.DEF

Your looking for a small camo'd clip-lock cache. Happy Caching!

If anybody would like to expand this series please do. I would just ask that you let SmokeyPugs know first so they can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
