Each cache in the 2014 Cachemas Series can be found individually, but make sure you collect the clue inside. You'll need them to find this cache, the 2014 Cachemas Bonus! The clue is hidden in plain sight in each container and is in the format "N [+-]#.### W [+-]#.###".
Like that one last present, tucked away under the tree, left unopened until after Christmas ... it kinda seems special unwrapping it after all the rest of the celebrations have past doesn't it? Well here it is, after all your hard work on the series, the 🎁 Cachemas Bonus 🎄 is waiting for you ...
Coordinates for this cache can be calculated as follows:
- Find the first twelve preliminary caches in the series. For your convenience, they are included in the following bookmark list:
2014 Cachemas Series Bookmark List
- The caches with clues in them are numbered 01-12 in the list above. They can be found in any order.
- In each cache, there will be information in the following format:
"N [+-]#.### W [+-]#.###"
- As an example, a clue may be N -0.930 W +0.430
- Note the above example, it will be important later
- Write down the clues, take pictures, record them on that super-spy tape recorder you carry around. Whatever, just please don't remove the clues from the caches!
- Use the numbers from the clues to adjust the posted latitude and longitude of this cache (simple addition and subtraction will work just fine):
N 38° 47.880 W 077° 35.126
- Here's the important part mentioned earlier: make sure to also adjust the coordinates by the example listed above on this page
- The end result will be ... the final coordinates for this cache. Now get out there and go find it!

May 25 2015 - 9 Ladies Dancing has been moved slightly and
GC5VQ5H has replaced the original
GC5J8CJ. The clue has not changed. If you got the info from the original 9 Ladies Dancing, it is still applicable to the bonus.
Dec. 30 2014 - Important Note: all clues are formatted N [+-]#.### W [+-]#.###. One preliminary cache accidentally had an "N" instead of a "W". This has been corrected, and initial finders contacted.
Dec. 25 2014 - Sample offset changed from N [+-]#.### W [+-]#.### to: N -0.930 W +0.430
If this cache is not findable due to preliminary caches (or clues) being unavailable for an unreasonable amount of time, please post a "Needs Maintenance" log on this cache as appropriate.
