ST.PETER'S CHURCH




St Peter’s Church is one of the tallest buildings in the Tunbridge Wells area with a tall and dominating spire on already high ground near to Dunorlan Park. 

As Tunbridge Wells  expanded in the 1870’s, housing development in the Windmill Fields area east of the town on the road to Hawkenbury prompted the construction of this sandstone church.
It was built in a Gothic revival style, designed by H.H. Cronk.
