Geocache Description:

The May meet will take place at The Sussex Barn, North Heath Lane, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 5PJ again, from 6.30pm on Wednesday 15th May 2013.

Paperless Caching and OSM Maps: As a 'bonus' to the normal monthly caching event, and due to the high level of interest shown at the previous meets, we again intend to have a paperless demonstration/workshop for those of you who are not familiar with GSAK, downloading GPX files to your GPS, getting, installing and using the FREE British Isles mapping based on the data from OpenStreetMapping (OSM), etc.

If you are interested please put a note to that effect so we can gauge the numbers.

There is plenty of parking at this pub (as well as the church car park, as the pub is opposite St. Mark's Church). The pub also offers a good food menu and was very well commented on after the January meet.

For those using public transport the pub is about a 10 minute walk from Littlehaven station and also on the main bus routes (51/61 North Heath Circular and the 200 Gatwick routes.)

Please let me know via log entry if you wish to eat as the pub would like a rough idea of numbers. Preferably 7-10 days before the meet.

The pub has recently been refurbished and has a dedicated area set aside for us (go in the door, turn left and then turn right at the end of the bar).

For those of you who want to cache on-route or before the meet, there are a number of nearby caches (including a TB hotel, Church Micro, etc.) and for the more adventurous even several series not far away as well as a night cache.
