How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This cache is the second in a trilogy of caches. An original trilogy, if you will. As such, it is based on the theatrical release of Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. If this series of caches does well enough, in about 20 years they may be re-released with trivial modifications that add nothing to the caching experience.

The cache wars saga continues...

Cache Wars: Episode V...

To test your Jedi cache-finding powers, Cache Master Yoda has set a challenge.  Answer some skill-testing questions, then use the answers to those questions to go out and find a cache hidden somewhere in the Akron, NY area.

The Cache Master has given you the beginnings of the cache coordinates: N43 00.ABC W78 JK.0LM

ABC = The odds of Han and Luke surviving a night on Hoth - the Cloud City landing platform the Millenium Falcon is directed to - 100
D = The odds of successfully navigating an asteroid field
E = Han's call sign on Hoth
F = Luke's call sign on Hoth
G = The number of 2's in Luke's astro-mech droid's name
H = The number of TIE Fighters that pursue the Millenium Falcon as it tries to escape Cloud City
I = The number of forms of communication C-3PO is fluent in
JK = 1 + (D / ((E + F) * G * H * 2)
L = E
M = Wedge's call sign on Hoth

Now, get out there and find or find not, there is no try.
