Geocache Description:

Welcome to Bay View! You are in front of Colectivo Coffee. This location incorporates many sustainable features into its design, such as an innovative water management system and the use of recycled materials throughout the building.

Meet the neighborhood!

NORTH and SOUTH along Kinnickinnic Avenue you’ll find many interesting locations. To the WEST, you can catch a glimpse of one of the largest copper domes in the world atop the Basilica of St. Josaphat. It is a Minor Basilica created by Pope Pius XI in 1929 (the third church so honored in the USA). It fulfilled the necessary characteristics required by the Church to be so designated. Namely: it is a place of pilgrimage and special devotion, it is a center of historic significance for the Faith, and it is architecturally and artistically qualified for such an honor. To the EAST you’ll see Café Centraal, reminiscent of Belgium’s grand cafes featuring a vast selection of more than 100 beers.
