Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Menomonee Valley! This four-mile long, half-mile wide community along the Menomonee River was once home to some of Milwaukee’s largest manufacturers and is now the site of some of Milwaukee’s most popular attractions!

Meet the neighborhood!

The Hank Aaron State Trail winds through the Menomonee Valley, providing a scenic pathway for walkers and bicyclists. To the EAST is Palermo’s Pizza, a nationally-known brand. Further EAST along the Hank Aaron State Trail are other interesting locations like Potawatomi Bingo and the world’s only Harley-Davidson Museum. Follow the trail a bit farther, cross a bridge to the SOUTH, and you’ll find the Menomonee Valley branch of the Urban Ecology Center, a community center that supports environmental education. To the WEST you’ll see the nation’s only fan-shaped, retractable roof on Miller Park, the home of the Milwaukee Brewers.

TO FIND YOUR CACHE, study up on storm water treatment and you’ll be close to your cache.
