Join us at Sequoyah State Park, October 12th & 13st, 2013 for Fun, Food, Fellowship, Camping, and of course, Geocaching!

Sequoyah State Park, located in eastern Oklahoma on the shores of Fort Gibson Lake, is a haven for water lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.  With over 19,000 surface acres of water and 225 miles of shoreline, the park attracts boaters as well as those who just enjoy relaxing on the swim beach.  Visitors enjoy hiking, picnicking, guided horseback trail rides and Western-themed activities as well as wildlife watching, golf and disc-golf, fishing and camping.  This will be our third visit to Sequoyah for Fall Fest.  We just can’t get enough!
 
Fall Fest Activities include:
* Hide and Seek: The main event! Use your imagination to create the best cache. Hide it and they will seek. RULES HIDE REGISTRATION FORM
 
* Geo-Bingo: How well do you know your fellow geocachers? Break the ice with this great get-to-know-you game!
 
* Poker Run: Race to complete this Multi-cache and your Poker Hand! RULES

* Children's Game: Fun for the younger cachers and the young at heart. Our main objective is to have a great time and maybe find a few caches and make some new friends.
 
* Other fun activities, sessions and general geocaching good times.
 
*108 uses for BBQ Sauce: (A Separate Event on October 11th!) Bring your best BBQ recipe and have it judged by the group. (As long as it has BBQ sauce in it or on it, it is eligible to be judged.)
 
Saturday Registration will open at 8:30am. Hide & Seek caches should be placed by 11am and coordinates will be released as near Noon as possible. Sunday prize drawings will begin at 1pm.
 
MEAL:
Fall Fest will be hosting one meal on Saturday evening. The Meal will be catered by Arizona Mexican Restaurant out of Tulsa (our own Germex1!).
We will be serving tacos, enchiladas and quesadillas with all the fixings, drinks, etc.
Costs for this meal are:
• $9.00 each for Adults (11 y/o and up)
• $4.00 each for children (6 – 11 y/o)
Please indicate if you have any special food needs (vegetarian, allergies) so we can plan accordingly.
DEADLINE FOR MEAL ORDERS IS OCTOBER 4TH

While the Geocaching Event is free of charge, taking advantage of the event meal is strongly encouraged. Regardless of your meal plans each participant must complete the Waiver/Release of Responsibility.

PATHTAGS:
A limited quantity of event Pathtags are available for collecting, trading, or dropping as cache SWAG. These are a great keepsake and memento of the event. Pathtags are for sale for $2 each. Pre-order yours while supplies last!* Any proceeds from sales will go towards event expenses and prizes.

EVENT T-SHIRTS
Stylish Tan T’s with the event emblem are also available by pre-order only. ALL T-Shirt orders must be received WITH PAYMENT by September 20th. All sizes are $10.50

Accommodations:
 
Our Headquarters will be the Pavilion area of the Seminole Campground. (See Map)
A limited number of campsites will be available for reservations.  Reservations will not be for a specific site, just the Seminole campground. All site bookings and camping fees should be handled directly with the State Park.
If camping is not your thing then The Lodge at Sequoyah State Park and duplex style cottages are also available. If are making any camping, lodge or cottage bookings for Fall Fest, please let them know you are there for the Geocaching event.
