Geocache Description:

A Flash Mob gathering of Geocachers
lasting precisely 15 minutes,
at 6pm on Saturday 4 May 2013
in Kingsbury Square, Aylesbury.

A Flash Mob is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, and then quickly disperse. This event is one of the hundreds of World Wide Flash Mob Events occurring simultaneously around the globe on the day, the tenth such annual event. All registered attendees who subsequently submit an Attended log will receive an official Groundspeak Souvenir.

As the name implies, the theme for this Flash Mob event is DUCKS for the second year running. Given the date, you might have expected the theme to be Stars Wars, but read on. . .

The published co-ords are for the water feature in Kingsbury Square, Aylesbury. So bring your own rubber ducks to float on the water during the 15 minutes the event lasts. Or dress up as a duck. Or wear a duck hat. Or wear webbed feet! You get the idea? Of course, if you want to go with the alternative date-related theme and bring your light sabre, or dress as Darth Vader, please feel free to do so – the mixture of themes will really get the muggles wondering!

Please arrive in good time, but mingle with the muggles and don’t reveal yourself as a geocacher until precisely 6pm when a whistle will be blown and a duck will start quacking, when you should assemble round the water feature and launch your ducks, or put on your duck hat, or raise your light sabre, or reveal your costume, or whatever. Use your imagination!

At 6.10pm there will be official group photographs, and at 6.15pm the duck will start quacking again, which will mark the end of the event. If you do not attend during the exact 15 minute period you will not be able to log as Attended. Please disperse quickly and quietly, taking your ducks with you, but as last year if you want to linger with other geocachers to chat and eat, or chat and drink, or just chat, some of us will be adjourning to a nearby pub (to be confirmed on the day).
