A new cache near an ancient olive tree.
The olive tree and oil are closely connected to Cretan mythology, history, tradition, religion and art. Olive groves cover 25% or more of total area of the island.
Some of the old trees are called “monumental” and they are protected.
One of them I just found at a caching day out with RenPet and Juktas. I couldn’t stop to live a box here.
