A cache at the nature.
On the road connecting Gerakari to Spili in Rethimno region, there is a small plateau called “Gious Kampos”, which means the Plain of Eos, who according the Greek mythology, was the goddess of Dawn.
In the spring months this Plateau is filling with a red carpet from hundreds of endemic tulips.( tulipa doerfleri)
A week ago Juktas, RenPet and Me went to search this special place. We knew where it is because 3 weeks ago we also wanted to see this and with the help of people from the village we found the plateau. So now you can find a cache and the fantastic flowers, of course if you come and visit at the spring time.
The box is on the way from Kisu Kampos to Spili. At the beginning the road is asphalt and the last few km is good dirt road.
The flowers are mostly at the area closed to Spili.
