Geocache Description:

Join the Homer area members of GeocacheAlaska! for a CITO Event at the Islands and Ocean Visitor Center!

When? Saturday, April 20
What time? 10am-12pm
What should I bring? Gloves, sturdy shoes (waterproof boots are always a good idea!)
Where to we meet? Come to the front desk of the Visitor Center and check in with Ranger Rachel. She will have bags and the logbook for the event.

Here's your chance to attend a CITO event and earn that CITO smilie! Help Keep Homer Clean!

We'll supply the bags - you bring gloves, boots and a good attitude! April 20-22 will mark Geocaching.com's 11th annual International CITO Events around the globe. Come on down to the end of the road to help a great community resource get tidied up for the season.

Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge will supply the site and trash bags, and we get to help make the world a bit cleaner for our efforts as geocachers!
