To get to the cache, travel up the Forestry Trunk Road north from Nordegg or south from Robb (alternatively, come west on the Elk River Road then south on the Trunk Road). Turn northeast onto the Blackstone road and follow it (mostly) north up across the Blackstone River and continue following the main road northwest until the road has been ditched. If you have a truck you trust, you may be able to make it all the way to a cut wellpad at the north end of the road.
From wherever you park, continue up the road to a large square open cut area. There is a cutline/trail running north from this cutpad that will turn due west. Follow this for about 3km until you are due south of the cache, then turn north and follow the terrace to the cache.
There are a few wetlands between the cache and the truck, so be sure to wear good boots and be ready to get wet if the water levels are high. I would also recommend bug spray, but it's ultimately your choice.
The cache itself is a moderately sized Lock n Lock container covered in camouflage duct tape. It only contains a logbook and a pencil as I didn't want to carry much more out here while working. It shouldn't be difficult to find but since you've made the trek out here, it's under a small spruce tree with blue flagging tape at chest height.
