Side Tracked caches have become a nationwide series of caches for public transport users. They are intended to provide quick cache-and-dashes at or nearby railway stations. Caches can be found close to stations of the national rail network and heritage railways.
Skipton railway station serves the market town of Skipton in North Yorkshire. The original station opened in 1847 but has been at its current site since 1876. The station has four platforms and links Leeds, Bradford, Carlisle, Lancaster and Morecombe and is 27 miles Northwest of Leeds.
