Geocache Description:

You're looking for a medium-sized lock 'n lock container hidden about 12 m off the trail.

Okay, in actual fact, the title of this cache could just as easily have been "Here Be Benches", because close by are a few benches, probably used in the past by snowmobilers in the winter season. But that title doesn't have quite the same mysterious, dangerous air to it, does it?

I'm going with my original title, Here be Dragons! and here's why: you'll see on the small map image on the Magical Ministik Tour event page, VP marked "Here be dragons" on a portion of the map. I thought that was an absolultely perfect description, because it was just how I felt about the - to me - then unknown, undiscovered, unexplored regions of this big, sprawling place called the Ministik Bird Sanctuary. When you walk through this place you continually see side trails, cut lines, some established and some dodgy-looking trails all leading off to unknown, seemingly mysterious places. And like a dark closet to a child, those unknown, "dark" places take on a bit of an edgy and dangerous feel.

Because of that, after seeing VP's map description, I couldn't wait to get out there to see the dragons!

Are there any?

I'm not telling.

Come on out to find this cache and see for yourself.
