A micro with some lovely views towards Fernworthy Forest
It hadn't been my intention to even visit this spot but I was drawn here by what appeared to be sheep or ponies about half mile away. As I got closer I realised that it was in fact a frozen water source with huge great icicles hanging down. But a good point to stop for a drink and a lovely view back the way I had come.
The weather on Dartmoor can change suddenly and unexpectedly and ALL types of weather conditions can be experienced. Please ensure that you have the correct clothing and map & compass (and know how to use them). Please do NOT rely solely on your GPS.
