A Tisza-tó környékének egyik új turisztikai attrakciója a Tisza-tavi ökocentrum, amely Poroszlón található. De nézzük meg, hogy miért is érdemes az ökocentrumba ellátogatni, mi is ez tulajdonképpen:

Egy állatkert, amely 10 hektáron mutatja be a Tisza-völgy élővilágát: madarak, halak, hüllők, kétéltűek, emlősök és mikroszkopikus lények népesítik be a parkot és az épületet.
Európa legnagyobb édesvizű akváriumrendszere, amelyben a forrástól a gyors folyású patakon át eljutunk egészen a meder aljára, és alulról gyönyörködhetünk a fölöttünk elúszó halakban, köztük az egykor itt is élő óriás, a viza nagyra nőtt példányaiban.
Egy látogatóközpont, a Tisza-tó kapuja. Ha megnézed a 3D filmet, ha közelről megismerheted a tó lakóit, ha szétnézel a kilátótoronyból és végigsétálsz a Vízi Sétányon, akkor bizonyosan megjön a kedved, hogy beülj egy csónakba, vagy hajóba és a valóságban is átéld a csodát.
Egy különleges biológiaóra helyszíne, ahol szakértő előadók, mikroszkópok és a fejlett technika számos más vívmánya révén kerülhetünk közel környezetünkhöz.
Egy kalandpark az egész családnak a játszótértől a GPS navigációs csónaktúrákig.
A Természet Temploma. A hely, ami alkalmas arra, hogy bemutassuk: az együttműködés, együttélés ember és természet között lehetséges.

Az esemény teljes napján, a nyitvatartási időben (9:00-18:00) teljesíthető az a QR-kód vadászat, amely a Ökocentrum teljes területére és még a vízi sétányokra is kiterjed. Erre a napra a versenyre jelentkezők speciális 1590 Ft-os belépő díjjal mehetnek be. A verseny eredménye beszámít a DEocaching 2013 rendezvény Mega kategóriájába. Sőt, egy nagyon különleges ajándékkal kedveskedünk minden regisztrált résztvevőnknek, akik teljesítik ezt a küldetést is.

Europe’s largest fresh-water aquarium system, with a capacity of over 1,000,000 litres. You can observe the life of fishes, amphibians and other animals and feel like walking on the bottom of the lake itself.

3D Showroom: You can feel like being part of the events shown on the screen and experience a boat-trip on Lake Tisza on a bright autumn day. The boat takes viewers through untouched jungles of rustling reeds, goes around the Bird Reserve to glance into the life of highly protected birds like great white egrets, herons, common coots, black-tailed godwits and show the annual mayfly swarming.
Exhibitions: What is a day fly like? Where do starlets and head chubs live? What is the difference between small egrets and great white egrets? It is much more exciting to go hiking if we know the answers to questions like those above and are able to name the animals we meet on our way or understand the marvels of nature.
The zoo park is designed in the spirit of ’exploring nature’. Visitors can observe animals closely, enjoy animal shows and try challenging playgrounds. Special programmes: Boating with GPS, guided walks and hikes, spectacular animal feeding,
Water Promenade: If you walk along the 1,500 meters-long water promenade built over Lake Tisza near the Ecocentre you can closely observe native birds without disturbing them. A small ferry takes you to the starting point. The pier, the ferry and the promenade can be easily accessed by prams and wheelchairs.

The full day of this event (9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) you can hunt for special QR-codes in the Ecocentre's area with the water promenade. For this event there is a special ticket for 1590 HUF. The result of this hunt is counted into the category Mega. All participants registered DEocaching 2013, who perform this mission, will get a special gift.
