The Senate Square (Finnish: Senaatintori, Swedish: Senatstorget) presents Carl Ludvig Engel's architecture as a unique allegory of political, religious, scientific and commercial powers in the centre of Helsinki, Finland.
A statue of Emperor Alexander II is located in the center of the square. The statue, erected in 1894, was built to commemorate his re-establishment the Diet of Finland in 1863, as well as his initiation of several reforms that increased Finland's autonomy from Russia. The statue comprises Alexander on a pedestal surrounded by figures representing the law, culture and the peasants.
To find this cache, you have to make at least a virtual visit to Alexander's zoo. Start a sightseeing tour to the zoo from the gate which is situated on an island near a long bridge.
Turn left at the corner of a large goat fence. Then turn left again at the second corner of another large goat fence. Here you see a small goat fence on a hill. Memorize the number of the fence. Be careful that you do not pick a wrong goat.
Return to the first goat fence and go through the large garden, which you see ahead of you. Turn towards a well when you reach shoreline. Continue forward to a small square which separates the zoo areas. Turn right and find a bigger square near water. Here you see a white bird. Memorize the number of its cage.
Return to the small square and turn right. Go forward without making any tight turns. Here you see an aquarium of a three-letter fish. Do not feed the fish but memorize the number of the tank.
Somewhere up ahead, you see an interesting structure on top of a hill. Climb to the hill to visit the site and then continue towards the bridge. Locate a nearby storage and memorize its number.
Continue to a wide promenade and follow shoreline to the right, up to the black panther cage. Do not put your hands into the cage. Memorize the number of the cage.
Go around the panther cage to see a weasel. Doesn't it look so cute and fascinating when it is dancing? Memorize the number of its cage.
Continue towards a moose fence to see a funny looking animal with stripes. Did you know, that this animal eats cereal food such as wheat, oats, and maize? Memorize the number of its cage.
Turn left and then right. You see a familiar place where you can sit down for a while. You see an odd-toed ungulate in front of you. Be warned, this animal can easily kill a man. Memorize the number of its fence.
I hope you have enjoyed the trip around the zoo. Now think about all these numbers which you have memorized. If you can put them in the correct order, by using the greatest possible numbers first, you will get the coordinates to this geocache.
